When I started being a Muslim. I studied lot's of things about Islam. I read all the free pamplets from my Muslim friends. Another thing that I like most in Islam is they give free Quran not like in my previous religion. I spend most of my time and effort in them but I haven'y recieved any. Astagfirullaa.
In islam you take everybody as your brother regardless of status in life. All of our deeds are for Allah. If you will read the Quran you will never ask anything arounds you because all of it are written. By the way I am not asking you to convert to Islam but it is up to Allah. I am just recommending this video for the new Muslim brothers and sisters.

Cash flow

Finance academics and practitioners have pointed out distinctions of the use of cash flows with that of accounting numbers for valuation of equity with their use of the of the former for valuation, and the latter for reporting and controlling purposes. They have justified the use of the methods and approaches under the principle that cash flows consider the time value of money while the accounting numbers do not.

On the premise that the Cash flow has been the basic building block of the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) model used for valuation, practitioners of the field and even some theorist displayed the obvious flexibility and versatility although not without limitations. One limitation perceived from the use of cash flow is the discipline imposed on the person estimating the cash flow especially those cash flows in the distant future. One would readily see that given the difficulty of forecasting far into future, a declining rate of growth in cash flows must be assumed beyond some future year to address the uncertainty. Given the therefore that valuations are extremely sensitive to these growth rate which is required to be assumed to go indefinitely, such exercise could become a good ground for patently optimistic analyst to say that the later growth rates could still be reliable. On the other hand therefore, the choice of the growth rate can therefore be made for personal reasons beyond what reasonable assurance dictates under the circumstances. Along this line therefore the search for better alternative for stock or equity valuation would always be wonderful and profitable areas for researchers given the possible dent of the credibility of DCF valuations.

Having recently reassessed the role of cash flow in valuation, academics and practitioners have recognized the Residual Income Model (RIM), an accounting based valuation technique, as an alternative technique or method to discounted cash flow methods. This RIV does offer many advantages over the cash flow methods.

Equity Valuation

As long as corporations and business entities will exist, equity valuation will always be a relevant and important matter to talk about. Equity valuation is universal since it is an issue across many nations of the world. Thus the need for great wisdom on the concept behind Equity Valuation will always be there as investors would like to see not only what has happened in their wealth but whether more wealth could still be expected from each business entities particularly those that have stocks. Consequently, the building interest in calculating Equity Valuation was by no means then limited to the highly industrialized countries like the United States, Europe, Thailand, Australia to name a few. However, it is now spreading all over the world at a rate that surprises even the third world countries. People have developed great enthusiasm in these tools to protect their interest in the form of investments.

The implanted perspective addresses the descriptive and practical weaknesses of the separation of different treatment of hierarchies and markets.

Over the last two decades history and culture of a more than forty countries it has been found out that there were some hypotheses emerge. These are expanding of entrepreneurship in communities, entrepreneurship members reinvest excess capital in the projects of other community members, entrepreneurship develops camaraderie rather than competition, and lastly entrepreneurship now is more of positive outlooks rather than negative.

The company with merger and acquisition are most likely the successful company all over the world. Examples of it can be found in the companies in China. Many knowledgeable people will think, what is beyond the gate of Harvard. For me beyond gate of Harvard is the challenge of the reality. There are several prospects of good opportunities after Harvard but the question is, how we can impart our deep knowledge on the people around the world. Harvard products are more over the most influential people in the world. Now the president on the United States is a product of Harvard University of Law. But come to think it, he is not the only person who has a challenge for the formation of the reality. There are lots of things that beyond the gate. It is often subdivided into several parts. Values is one of the most important traits deos everybody have. Values are well changing, it depends on how we handle it and experienced it. The most common values that we can have today was about parenting. One of the speaker in DLSU-D stated that every parent were looking for the good welfare pf tehir children. The speaker cited a story about parenting. I jotted it down to share this thought because I think this will help my parent readers. He said that there was man whom are contented with his simple institution with a very low salary or compensation. He feels that it is just right to work on that institution but when his new born baby come his new values were came. he then shift to a multinational institution.

This implies that every ordinary person has a chance or time to change when the new challenge in life came. Nevertheless people were switch life style and standing in life due to attitude. Actually attitude is everything which was been stated in one book that I have read before. Another thing was it depends on our character to face the new reality in life because it is the actuality. The character of every part will be the key for molding childrens in a right for the their journeys in life.

Reason of USA Recession

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of United States

As a common people on the planet earth, we usually ask ourselves why USA declares recession. Actually recession was not only on GDP. But in some instances GDP value really rock the economy of a certain country because it is the richness of the country if it is very down meaning, it is not safe to invest because your capital or even some of your earnings will absorb by the company on that country.

Now let’s discuss the GDP of the most influential country in the world. The values on this data were covers the period of 1990 to 2007.

It is very notable that the United States of America has an increasing GDP. It has value of 5757.2, 5946.9, 6286.8, 6604.3, 7017.5, 7342.3, 7762.3, 8250.9, 8694.6, 9216.2, 9764.8, 10075.9, 10417.6, 10908, 11630.9, 12364.1, 13116.5, and lastly 13741.6 respectively.

The increase in GDP on a very visible part does not mean okay or good to invest you have to check their increment also. What is the GDP increment? GDP increment means a difference of present year to previous. If the increment decreases this means a very alarming economic crisis now called recession.

To make the story short the US have recession because of a downward trend of the GDP increment. The data below were the GDP increment of the United States of America. (Note all of the data used in this presentation was retrieved in OECD)

Figure 2 show that the increments in 2000 to 2001 with 548.6 to 311.1 and 2006 to 2007 with 752 to 625 increment decreases. This means that the power of the United State of America was getting weak in this period. The strategy used by this two president was not that effective during their time. This also implies that the production were worse and another reason was the goods and services were became less during these period. Meaning the credibility of the country was dropped during this period.

Generally, this is just only one reason why US Government declares recession. Another reason was the bankruptcy of several banks. It just happened because most of them invest in Real State and depositors also failed to pay their bills.

Ramadan

Every Muslim observes fasting for one month in Islamic calendar. As side from not eating before sunrise and after sunset, Muslim turns their bad deed to good deed. Every Muslim is racing for doing good deeds in this month, even very simple one like putting some stones on a right place especially if they saw it prone to accident.

Another noticeable to Islam during Ramadan was Charity. Muslims with a very inclined wealth distribute their excess wealth to their brothers after Ramadan. Muslims also do their obligatory prayer on time and read the Quran as often as possible.

Why do Muslim Fast?

Tourists and Local Citizens of Hongkong by Age

A market research was conducted in 2006 on the frequency and percentage distribution of the tourists and local citizens of Hong Kong by Age (Table 2). The study showed that out of the 456 tourists, most of them were aged 35-44 years old, or roughly 135 or 29.6%. This was followed by those who were 25-34 years of age, or about 123 or 27.0%. Then, the third category was those of 45-54 years old, or about 117 or 25.7. The least among the age groups were those aged 14 or below, consisting only 3 or 0.7% of the population. This could be understood within the premise that early teens aged 14 or below were too young to travel.

On the other hand, the survey also showed that majority of the frequency distribution was basically on 25 to 54 age range. Coincidentally, Wight in 1999b, Holland et al in 1998, and Meric and Hunt in 1998 supposed that ecotourists were characteristically within this age group. Although, this may also mean that the selected respondents of the study were matured enough to answer the survey questions. Obviously, they belong to the Adult group. However, notably, the figures indicated very minimal tourists and local citizens of Hong Kong belong to 14 or below age bracket. Apparently, the Hong Kong community catered to the matured tourists and local citizens.

Considering this selective nature of tourism spots, organizers must reckon with the benefits that this particular national activity may gain. Whelan in 1991, Boo in 1992, Buckley in 2004b, Kiss in 2004, Krugger in 2005, Tisdell and Wilson in 2005 supposed that ecotourism is an appropriate means for sustainable development, in addition to the commercial benefits, community development that may be in place and the environmental conservation techniques that may be evolved. A census survey was conducted in 2006 in Hong Kong. The study covered four hundred fifty six (456) tourists and citizens as respondents (Table 1) only. Out of this number, two hundred forty four (244) or fifty three point five percent (53.5%) were female. Clearly, majority of the study population were female. There were only two hundred twelve (212) or forty six point five percent (46.5%) were male. This means that the female visitors basically dominate the Hong Kong visitors’ population. This is suggestive of the idea that the government must have been supportive of female activities than their male counterparts.

On the other hand, the tourism Commission of Hong Kong in 2008 reported that the number of visitors tripled in 2007 to about twenty eight million (28M) tourists. There was however no classification given as to the gender of the visitors. But, out of 28 million tourists, 15 million were from Mainland China. This influx was apparently linked to a government program in Mainland China where individuals were allowed to go on tour to the currently annexed island of Hong Kong regardless of gender.

As the empirical study showed that majority of the visitors were female, despite the influx of tourists in the recent past periods, government and the private sector should joined hands in an effort to draw more male visitors.

Physics in Basketball

It is my great honor to present my very energetic and studious student in De La Salle University Dasmariñas Cavite Philippines.

As a Physics teacher of very energetic class.I have to think of an activity which will suit to their level of eagerness and ofcourse I want my students should enjoy. My laboratory partner and I have decided a shooting activity. We call this activity as Physics in Basketball. The only material that used in this activity are basket tennis ball, timer, and meter stick. The students just stand on a free throw line and shoot the basket if the shooting was successful. The students will just stop moving and then their tip finger up to the floor will be then measured. The most exciting part of this is the shooting and the pausing of the shooter. The height of the ring (basket) and distance of the free throw line was also emasured by the students.

At this juncture students enjoyed the activity of projectile. With this simple activity student realized the relevance of projectile in their everyday life.

THE TICKER TAPE TIMER

The ticker tape timer

At a glance this apparatus have no any arrived in freshmen students especially if students have no experience in a physics laboratory. This very simple rectangular black apparatus with switch was used to detemine the acceleration of an object moving down an incline plane or dynamic track.

It is sometimes called recording timer. It leads in the realization of the distance covered by an object under accelerated motion increases for same time interval.

This device is operated on a low voltage AC supply of usually 60 HZ. However the experiment done in the Laboratory has only 10 HZ and 40 Hz. This device also serves as vibrator which leaves dots on a paper tape using a carbon paper.

Attitude of the Adlaw students towards clip system

What were the attitudes of the students towards the clip system?

Kinder Adlaw students in five days Clip system proper/ implementation (Raised hand and was called). It reveals that Gabriel and Selena have an improved attitude especially with the value of courtesy. It also reveals that the students have a big improvement in raising their hands. This means that the students already understood the importance of raising hand when reciting and have learned the value of courtesy in social setting like classroom. This implies that the students are well behaved with Clip system proper/ implementation.

It is notable that Zachary was losing interest in the Clip system proper/ implementation after March 12. His frequency value when raising hand when called were 2, 3, 7, 5, and 3 respectively. This is because he is the only member of the class who remembered the rules without being reviewed by the researchers. This means that Zachary knows or was very familiar with the discussion especially with clips.

Generally, it reveals that all of the students recited their answer when called by the teacher, well behaved, and lastly, respect their classmates when reciting on class.

Adlaw Kinders

Kinder Adlaw students’ pre-test/observation. It reveals that the behaviors of Kinder Adlaw students during whole group sessions before introducing the clip system were often talked out of tune, very minimal who raised hand and was called, very minimal who raised hand and was not called, and lastly students have sometimes raised hands and talked out of turn as evidenced by the total frequency values of 4 (1. Raised hand and was called), 7(2. Raised hand and was not called), 12 (3. Raised hand and talked out of turn), and 48 (4. Talk out of turn) respectively. This means that the behaviors of Kinder Adlaw students during whole group sessions before introducing the clip system were very noisy, talked out of turn, attentive, active, but lack of discipline and respect and courtesy for the one who is talking.

IN A NUTSHELL, both Sony and Ericsson joined forces with the end in mind of generating more profits than if they had struck it out by themselves in the telecommunications business. The financial statements show a failure of the Sony Ericsson brand of company to cope with the aftershocks of the current depression enveloping the entire earth. However, this leader in the mobile phone industry is expected to bounce back to its old self after the depression evaporates into thin air probably by 2011. Conclusively, the company is on the right track in producing new mobile phone models each year to fill the needs of its current and prospective clients. The Sony Ericsson co opting alliance was mainly due to the pooling of the resources of both companies to derive economics of scale or limit its risk (Lorange & Chakravarthy 2007, 94).

The Sony Ericsson company’s management style needs lots of improvement. The sales for the fourth quarter above show that the company has been affected by the worldwide depression. The loss generated for the first quarter of 2009 means that the people are no longer craving for expensive phones like the Sony Ericsson. The people have to feed their hungry stomach first before they think of dishing out lots of excess money to buy expensive mobile phones. A research should be done to determine what went wrong (Burwell,1999,19).

Alliance Performance

From the viewpoint of an outsider, the company is not doing well. It generated a lost for the first quarter 2009. The company generated a loss because it could not grab a material part of the customer pie of Nokia and other market segment. The company officers should have a brainstorming to determine their next course of action. This meeting must push through to revitalize its current marketing strategy because it seems to lose its effectiveness in increasing territorial segments. The strategy of the company should be to spy on the highly salable products of its top competitors like Nokia.

It must produce outputs that would outshine or outdo its competitors in the mobile phone industry and other jobs in the future. The future of the company is not as bleak. The world economy is expected to recover by the end of 2010. This clearly shows that the alliance may break apart if the total cost of production and expenses to operate are higher than the revenues generated from selling its mobile and other electronics –based products(Slavin,1989,595).

Why Sony and Ericson decided to ally?

Sony and Ericsson were struggling hard before their alliance in 2001. Both companies did not perform well financially on their own. The combined forces resulting to the installation of the Ericsson logo on Sony cell phones. This immediately increased the cell phones sales figures (Hisrich, 2000, 15). One of the initial marketing strategies of Sony Ericsson was to sell its camera phones in 2003. This T610 camera phone immediately sold like hotcakes when sold in the market. The T610 black and silver phones were immediate success stories. The company increases its mobile phone models to more than thirty -five in order to increase its sales figures (Gall, 2006, 293). The James Bond movie, Casino Royale, featured the Sony Ericsson mobile cyber shot phone unit. The success of these mobile phones was due to the many features it offered. The mobile phones included such features as MP3 players, and cameras. The company also increased its customer base by including Google Blogger facility on its Cyber shot phone which enables the mobile phone users to create their own blog and to post photographs on it in just two or three keystrokes (Henry, 2008, 2238).

The alliance is riding high on the demand of people for mobile phones to facilitate information exchange with their clients, friends, employees, relatives and the like. In terms of research, “The short-term motivation of banks to cut branches and develop telephone-based services has been to maximize profits in a period of high demands on bank reserves; third world debt and poor investment strategies; to maintain competitiveness by keeping ahead in a deregulated market of financial products and services; and for some, to create new markets by fostering a commercial identity independent of a branch presence” (Miller & Bastos, 1999,53).

The alliance between Sony of Japan and Ericsson of Sweden is geographical. functional and product based. Sony had a low sales performance before the merger with Ericsson in 2001. The merger immediately catapulted Japan’s Sony phone sales because the customers of Ericsson saw a strong alliance between the expertise of Sony and the Expertise of Ericsson. This is what synergy is all about (Anderson et al.,1984, 134) Synergy is defined as the one plus one is equal to more than two (Churchill & Peter,1995,192).
