SINAG a solar car

“Wow Philippines” This is one of the tourist phrase attraction in the Philippines but this one something different because it is not a place. It is a solar cell car which was invented by my co-La Sallians. I am very proud of this invention that’s why I covered this on my article. This solar car was named as SINAG. It is a car powered by solar cell technologies and invented by Filipino Electronics and Communications Engineers of De La Salle University of Manila Faculties and Students.

It has six square meter top surface is covered with model A-300 monocrystalline silicon solar cells made exclusively at SunPower’s Laguna facility. In addition to that here are the descriptions driver's cockpit (single seat), an electric motor propel, shell/body design, and consists of hundreds of photovoltaic solar cells converting sunlight into electricity.

This car was design not currently a practical form of transportation but for the World Solar Challenge. However we will wait for the transportation form of vehicle. Keep it Up! La Sallians. “Animo La Salle”

Forces in Equilibrium

The main task of my students in this picture is to determine the equilibrium position of an object suspended on a string halfway bewteen two supports.


The students were measuring the horizontal distance of the pulleys by using meterstick.

On this picture the students were putting the assign weight at the middle of the two pulley. The weight on its side was also assigned by their professor. (Me)

On the above picture students were measuring the vertical displacement. As you can see students were enjoying Physics. And all of them were highly participative.

The end of the experiment students were having their computations and brainstorming for the finalization of their group report and individual report.

Parenting

Values is one of the most important traits deos everybody have. Values are well changing, it depends on how we handle it and experienced it. The most common values that we can have today was about parenting. One of the speaker in DLSU-D stated that every parent were looking for the good welfare pf tehir children. The speaker cited a story about parenting. I jotted it down to share this thought because I think this will help my parent readers. He said that there was man whom are contented with his simple institution with a very low salary or compensation. He feels that it is just right to work on that institution but when his new born baby come his new values were came. he then shift to a multinational institution.

This implies that every ordinary person has a chance or time to change when the new challenge in life came. Nevertheless people were switch life style and standing in life due to attitude. Actually attitude is everything which was been stated in one book that I have read before. Another thing was it depends on our character to face the new reality in life because it is the actuality. The character of every part will be the key for molding childrens in a right for the their journeys in life.

Physics in Basketball

It is my great honor to present my very energetic and studious student in De La Salle University Dasmariñas Cavite Philippines.

As a Physics teacher of very energetic class.I have to think of an activity which will suit to their level of eagerness and ofcourse I want my students should enjoy. My laboratory partner and I have decided a shooting activity. We call this activity as Physics in Basketball. The only material that used in this activity are basket tennis ball, timer, and meter stick. The students just stand on a free throw line and shoot the basket if the shooting was successful. The students will just stop moving and then their tip finger up to the floor will be then measured. The most exciting part of this is the shooting and the pausing of the shooter. The height of the ring (basket) and distance of the free throw line was also emasured by the students.

At this juncture students enjoyed the activity of projectile. With this simple activity student realized the relevance of projectile in their everyday life.

Model Teacher of the Month

WHO IS THE MODEL TEACHER????

Model teacher doesn't mean that you are very beuatiful or handsome but instead you have your won Karism. Karism means you are above among the others. When someday saw they feel the impact that you are there. Aside from the mastery of the subject matter and the treatment to the students were of course counted for on a model teacher. Another thing that have to think in mind is that model teacher wears a very ellegant dress or quite formal. The model teacher usual sometimes wear the common dress but still above to others.

One of the most conviencing part for the model teacher is that there messages are full of thoughts and you can learn and gain something about the things of that he/she discussion upon conversation.

As of now I am searching for my model teacher in DLSU Dasmarinas Cavite.
